It all started at a bar called El Bufalo…in typical Chelsea fashion, she saw a tall handsome man and she went for it. Did it matter that he was mid conversation with another girl? Nope. Did she know if he was single? Nope. Did she know this man from a stranger on the street? Nope. But that one conversation turned to a lifetime of morning coffees, nighttime rituals, inside jokes and making memories daily.

Lindsay has been my best friend for the better part of 20 years, since we went to high school together. She’s always been the friend who reminded me I could be better and do better.  She could write the book on multitasking, because I’ll never understand how she takes on so much and still has time to be there for the people she loves. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to grow up and do life together.

Lindsay 

Abbie is more family than she’s ever been a friend. As kids we grew up across the street from each other, we played day in and day out, terrorized the other neighborhood kids, got on our parents nerves and most importantly we grew up never knowing what it was like to fight about anything. Me being a bit older, I’ve watched her follow in my footsteps and adopt literally all my mannerisms so it’s like watching myself be out in the world. I’m so proud to have her standing next to me for this moment in my life.

Abbie 

Dr Dre as I so lovingly call her is what everyone should want out of an adult friendship. I’m talking total understanding that life is hectic and if we go days, weeks without talking (never happens) we always pick up right where we left off and there’s never any need to explain why there any absence. She’s the friend you call when you just want to hang out ugly on the couch and order food. She’s the foodie you want to go to dinner with. She’s the “come with me to the grocery store” friend and I think every girl needs someone who expects nothing but your friendship from you.

Andrea 

When you work with someone in life or death situations, trust is so important. And when you spend as much time at work as I do, you learn to love these people. Lindsey is one of the only people in my life who understands first hand how hard our career choice is. To have a true genuine friend come out of this job has been the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for.

An almost perfect human being. Courtney is the most gracious, helpful ,thoughtful person I know hands down. She was there when I needed a drink, a hug, some homemade soup, a dinner buddy, a party planner, literally anything. If she has it to give, she will. Having her around has made me softer, believe it or not. She’s a true gem in this world.
